The Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) has been honoured with the WomenCEO Good Corporate Governance Award for Diversity, in the Best Institution/Organisation category.

The Vice-Chair, Paloma Marín, attended the ceremony yesterday to receive the award. In her speech, she expressed gratitude and pride on behalf of the Chair and the entire Commission.

She emphasised the CNMV’s efforts in promoting diversity and gender-balanced representation on boards of directors and in senior management within the companies under its supervision. She also highlighted the Commission’s commitment to fostering this culture internally at all levels, from the board and senior management to the various operational units.

“This recognition is truly a great motivation for all of us at the CNMV to continue working hard in this direction,” said the Vice-Chair.
